On the eve of Good Friday, MD Lahore Waste Management Company, Wasim Ajmal Chaudhry, announced two holidays on Friday April 6, and Sunday April 8, for Christian workers, so that they can celebrate their holidays with their families. The workers are expected to return for duty on Monday, the day after Easter. Wasim expressed his best wishes for the Christian workers, in a statement. He said the company was equally involved in the celebrations and is conducting special activities in 5 churches namely Naulakha, Sacred Heart Cathedral, Anarkali, Lohari gate and St. Anthony’s Church Empress road, Lahore. Sweets will be distributed among the visitors, on behalf of the company officials who will be participating in the church services.
