President Asif Ali Zardari arrived in Lahore on Wednesday, but no official from the Punjab government was at the airport to greet him. The president’s visit is spanned over three days in which he is scheduled to address a parliamentary meeting of the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Punjab chapter. However, the party sources said that the trip could be extended to four day as well.
The parliamentary meeting was scheduled to be held earlier but was postponed due to a meeting between the president and a US state department official at the Governor House. Sources said that the president would leave for India directly from Lahore on a personal visit to the shrine of a Sufi saint in Ajmer.

  1. Didn't pml(n) vote for zardari to be president? How hypocrytical of them to not extend their warm hospitality to a person they voted in as president.

  2. do you even know what you are talking about? pmln had their own candidate for presidency and they voted for him not zardari. before just coming up with home-made stories at least try to get your facts right.
