Imran urges CJP to take bold decisions against ‘corrupt rulers’

PTI Chairman Imran Khan on Thursday came down hard upon criticism of the Supreme Court by PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and President Asif Ali Zardari at Naudero and urged the CJP to take bold decisions on all corruption cases against corrupt rulers, including the prime minister’s contempt case.
Talking to journalists, Imran said that President Zardari and his cronies openly resorted to contempt of court by using abusive language in Naudero. He said that the whole nation fully backs the Supreme Court to take bold decisions against corrupt leaders, adding that all problems facing the country, including load shedding, were the result of corruption of rulers. The PTI chairman said that many problems could be resolved if transparent accountability was made against corrupt rulers.
Imran said that there was no difference between the PPP and PML-N, as both were power hungry. He said that the PML-N staged a drama of boycotting meetings of the PCNS but changed its stance with a single call of the prime minister. The PTI chairman said that the PTI believes in the politics of principles, adding that the PTI will give party tickets to honest people only. “It will not be possible for anyone to escape after violating Pakistan’s sovereignty if the PTI is in power,” Imran said. He said that the PTI will protect national sovereignty at all costs
