‘Muslim world proud of ZAB’

Prime Minister’s Task Force on Islamabad Chairman Faisal Sakhi Butt on Wednesday said that Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto was a real leader of millions of Pakistani people as well as of Muslim Ummah, who made the Muslim world proud with atomic power and gave the poor a voice.
He said this on the eve of 33rd death anniversary of Shaheed Zulfiar Ali Bhutto here at Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Public Secretariat. Workers of People’s Youth Organisation (PYO), People’s Students Federation (PSF), People’s Labour Bureau and PPP Women Wing as well as a large number of party workers from both the rural and urban areas of the federal capital were present to observe the anniversary.
Addressing the gathering, Faisal Sakhi Butt said, “Our beloved leader gave voice to the helpless people of Pakistan for their basic rights, adding that he was the only elected leader in the real sense, who served the people at national and international level. He said Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto was the founder of Atomic Pakistan and secured and strengthened its security against the enemies. Faisal Sakhi Butt said that his murder was a conspiracy of those had no interest in the rights of people and security of the country. He said, “The great leader sacrificed his life, which he dedicated to the poor people of Pakistan and “we, being workers of the PPP will promote his political theory amongst the masses.” He added that the PPP’s goal was to strengthen the democracy in the country at all costs.
He said, “We all are one and will remain united under the leadership of PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and Co-Chairperson President Asif Ali Zardari to serve the common people of the country. We will foil nefarious designs against democracy in Pakistan.” Freedoms of expression, independent media, NFC Award, free judiciary, political reconciliation in the country were the achievements of this government, Faisal Sakhi Butt said.
