The Islamabad Traffic Police (ITP) arranged a road safety awareness workshop on Monday at the Reham Grammar Model School, Rawal Town, to educate students about traffic laws.
The ITP has been arranging lectures at various educational and government institutions, aiming to inculcate better traffic sense among the people.
The workshop, organised at the Reham Grammar Model School, was conducted by the ITP Education Team, headed by Inspector Mehfooz Kayni. According to a press release, ASI Sajjad Sheikh delivered a lecture on road safety tips. SSP (Traffic) Dr Moeen Masood, in his special message to the students of the school delivered by the ITP Education Team, said the aim of holding such programmes was to acquaint the people with traffic laws.
Masood said the ITP was doing its best to maintain traffic discipline in the city while conducting inspections through radars, to detect over-speeding vehicles.
