Parliamentary Committee on National Security (PCNS) Chairman Senator Raza Rabbani admitted on Tuesday that the government had failed to implement resolutions which were passed by the parliament.
A meeting of PCNS was held here with Senator Raza Rabbani in the chair which deliberated over foreign policy recommendations relating to US-NATO ties.
Talking to media persons after the PCNS meeting, he said that the discussion of the committee was making progress in positive way, adding that the people would not be disappointed as in the past.
He said everyone was right to show reservations over the recommendations of the PCNS recommendations, because it’s their right.
Senator Raza Rabbani said that reservations raised by PML-N on some recommendations should be removed through consensus with other political parties, but all recommendations of PCNS could not be reframed.
To a question on hike in petroleum products prices, the PCNS chairman said that the government keeping in view international prices of petroleum increased its prices in Pakistan.
He urged the PML-N to attend the PCNS meeting and become a part of parliamentary system. PCNS meeting will be held again on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) continued boycott of PCNS meeting on second consecutive day.

  1. He should admit that this govt. itself is a failure along with every single member of the parliament. They should ask for forgiveness. Better yet they should all be flown to Saudia Arabia on a PIA plane thats been grounded 🙂
