Four members of PML-N have moved an adjournment motion in the National Assembly for a debate over the deteriorating situation in Karachi.
MNAs Malik Shakir Shabir Awan, Abdul Majeed Khan, Nigat Parveen and Mrs Nisar Tanveer in their adjournment motion said that almost all the dailies of 3rd March have published news about the incidents of firing which claimed the lives of eight people, adding that business hub of the country was in the control of insurgents, extortionists and mafias who were roaming freely and challenging the writ of the state.
They said the murder of innocent people was an open challenge to the government and people of Pakistan were highly perturbed over the situation.
The lawmakers demanded a full debate in the house over the situation.
