34th National Boxing Championship from 23rd

The 34th National Boxing Championship will be held here at the Punjab College of Commerce Muslim Town Hall from April 23 to 27.
Talking to this scribe, secretary Punjab Boxing Association Mohammad Yousaf Butt said that boxers from all the four provinces – Punjab, Sindh, Balochistan and Kyber Pakhtunkhwa, Islamabad, Fata, Railways, Wapda, Army, Navy, Air Force, HEC, KESC and Police will compete in the championship. Pakistan Boxing Federation president Duda Khan Bhutto has allotted the championship to Punjab and he will also be among the guests. He said that around 200 boxers and technical officials will be taking part in the event and the competitions will be held in 10 body weight categories.
Yousaf said that the championship will be inaugurated by Pakistan Olympics Association President Lt Gen Arif Hasan and the chief guest of the closing ceremony will be Sardar Mohammad Latif Khosa and will also distribute the prizes.
