Seeds of hope

Seeds are being deposited in Artie Doomsday vault to protect food crops from being damaged by war and natural disaster. The seed is designed to withstand global warming, earthquake and nuclear strikes.

It is all but over: under the circumstances, the world has to decide what possibly can be done now. For one, ‘Stop the war’ may end up like a slogan – but not collective attempts for removing the cause of wars. This may require strengthening the UN, enabling it to draft a fool-proof mechanism, in consultation with the Security Council, so as it become like saying ‘we will keep the world peaceful and won’t allow wars in the world.’

This may look impossible, but then, how to describe the modern world we live in which is the outcome of hundreds of impossibles made possible in the past and world continue to flow in time to come.

Eleanor Roosevelt, a Western genius once said, ‘It is not enough to talk about peace. One must believe it. And it is not enough to believe in it. One must work at it.’

‘Be the change you want’: Socrates.
