MNA announces to establish university in rural area

Pakistan Muslim League-N leader Dr Tariq Fazal Chaudhary has announced to establish a state-of-the-art university in rural area of the federal capital to impart quality education to the poor but talented students.
He was addressing on the occasion of an annual prize-distribution ceremony at the Ibn-Ul-Haysum School of Excellence here at Bhara Kahu.
“If PML-N is voted to power, a university will be established especially for the students of rural areas of Islamabad,” he promised. He said despite lack of resources, the educational institutions of the area as Ibn-ul-Haysum School had been playing pivotal role in imparting quality education. “Students of the school came up with flying colours both in their curricular and extracurricular activities. After hearing their speeches, I can say that institutions of the rural areas are not behind those established in the city,” he observed.
The legislator said he was ready to donate his inherited land for establishing a university to cater the needs of the students. He also apprised the people that his talks were underway with the management of Allama Iqbal Open University for setting up its campus at Bhara Kahu. On the occasion, Montessori students performed colourful tableaus, skits, and mime show followed by declamation contests. The speeches were followed by a prize-distribution ceremony and a stage show in which young talented students of the school exhibited their extracurricular skills, leaving a message of love for their homeland.
Speaking on the occasion, Ibn-ul-Haysum Principal Farzana Mahmood said that children of Bhara Kahu were talented and could play an important role for the welfare of this area as well as for the country.
She said: “Students should be provided an opportunity to explore their talent and my team was trying its best to provide them a path to move forward,” she said, adding the aim behind the establishment of Ibn-ul-Haysum school was to provide contemporary education with a blend of modern and Islamic education.
