The office bearers of society of School of Politics and International Relations, Islamabad (SPIR), Quaid-i-Azam University, took oath at a ceremony.
SPIR Director Dr Lubna Abid Ali was the chief guest of the ceremony. She administered oath to the newly elected president of joint society of the SPIR.
Later, Mujeeb Afzal, in charge of SPIR Society, administered oath to the rest of the cabinet.
The cabinet enthusiastically vowed to be faithful and work for the betterment of the society and honour of the institution. The SPIR director congratulated all successful candidates and lauded their efforts for setting the democratic norms in the institution.
The newly elected body consists of President Shoaib Ali Khan, Vice President Tanveer Farooq Maan, Vice President IR Sajjad Malik, General Secretary Summayah Khalid, Deputy General Secretary Nighat Bano, Deputy General Secretary Madiha Shakeel Khan, Joint Sectary Shazeb Zaheer Butt and Finance Secretary Anum Raza Khan.
The election of the SPIR Society was held under the supervision of Chief Election Commissioner Summar Rao on March 14.
