Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid-i-Azam (PML-Q) came up with a new proposal of opposing any American attack against Iran on Saturday.
The PML-Q, a coalition partner also proposed that NATO supply should be confined to food items and medicines only and weapons and arms should not be allowed to pass through Pakistani territories to Afghanistan.
Senator Mushahid Hussain Syed, while talking to reporters here at the Parliament House after attending meeting of the Parliamentary Committee on National Security (PCNS observed that his party had also flouted proposal before the committee to oppose any American adventurism against Iran.
“Supply of weapons, arms and ammunition must not be allowed to NATO forces through Pakistan” he commented. He added that his party supported conditional restoration of NATO supply as well as limiting it to food items and medicines alone.
He further told media that committee agreed to delete three controversial recommendations related to permitting foreign intelligence operatives inside Pakistan, granting Pakistani airbases and military bases to foreign forces on Pakistani soil.
He said that committee would redraft the recommendations in its meeting on Monday so the session could be long.
