The names of 20 senior civil judges belonging to different districts of Sindh were recommended on Friday to be posted as Grade-20 additional district and sessions judges. The names of the judges were proposed by the Selection Board of Judicial Officers presided over by the Sindh High Court chief justice. The notification in this regard will be issued after the final approval of Sindh chief minister.
According to sources in the Sindh High Court, the names recommended by the selection board for the promotion included Jalaluddin Soomro, Qadir Bux Lahrani, Qadir Bux Dahiry, Ghulam Ali Kanasro, Abdul Wahab Tunio, Azmat Lodhi, Javed Baloch, Mir Ghulam Hussain Talpur, Abdul Shakoor Shaikh, Ramesh Kumar, Manazurul Haq, Saleem Larik, Farooq Abbasi and Abdul Karim Ansari. After the formal approval of Sindh Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah, the provincial Law Department will issue the notification for the judges’ posting.
