If you are a genuine traveler to the UK, do it straight and apply online now without involving any agent, British High Commissioner to Pakistan Adam Thomson said while addressing a press conference on Thursday as he unveiled new visa rules to be implemented from April 1. He said Pakistan is on number 5 on the list of the most UK visa recipient countries.
Thomson observed a small percentage of Pakistani travelers abuse the UK hospitality and visa rules and embarrass their families, adding at present there were around 6,000 Pakistanis who have applied for asylum in the UK. He said that the British government is going to introduce new measures to help improve the level of customer service to applicants from Pakistan, including a new online application system and a Priority Visa Service. He said the major changes in visa rules were not Pakistan specific.
