A spark of violence

Yes, it takes a spark of violence to overwhelm the entire city into intractable piles of bullet perforated and tortured bodies.

Karachi can be a home to countless refugees or denoting to the current violence bouts, gibbets for innocent lives. The recent killings of Mansoor Mukhtar (MQM) and Zain-ul-Abideen (ANP) have created a feeling of tension among the people and hard-hitting battle is taking place between Mohajirs and Pathans.

Several innocent lives were lost due to torching attacks and firing, which ruled Karachi throughout the course of the day and is still ongoing. The death toll from violence in the city has reached six by now, whereas 13 vehicles were set on fire.

On Thursday, the main thoroughfares wore deserted look as the ANP announced a day of mourning. Police and rangers kept them away from the episode and let the rioters do what they wanted to. Transporters kept their vehicles off the roads and private schools and colleges were closed.

Once again, Karachi is in a daze and is going through a huge amount of economic loss. Day by day, people are losing their hopes that change will transpire and things will get better because we only see things getting worse.
