The city police on Thursday arrested nine persons, including four women, for their alleged involvement in dacoities, thefts and drug peddling, a police spokesman said.
According to details, Sub Inspector Ghulam Habib from Margallah police station arrested four women, Nadia, Razia, Parveen and Sarwari, for their theft. ASI Saleem Raza from Ramna police station arrested two thieves, Javed and Nazir, and recovered stolen mobile phones from them. ASI Muhammad Niaz from Shehzad Town police arrested two dacoits, Ibrahim and Asif Ibrahim. Tarnol police arrested a drug pusher, Saqib Shah, and recovered 500 grams of heroin from his possession.
