The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz has expressed its wonder over what it is supposed to congratulate Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani for after he completed his four years in a statement issued on Thursday.
PML-N media coordinator Muhammad Mehdi said the PM was committing ‘blunders after blunders’ but was seeking best wishes for ruling the ‘power-less’ masses for four years without doing anything worthwhile to improve their condition. He said all the government had done was increase outages, unemployment and had disobeyed the courts.
PML-N HOLDS PROTESTS: A parliamentary meeting of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz was held at 90-Shahrah-e-Quaid-e-Azam after which the MPAs took out a protest rally led by Provincial Law Minister Rana Sanaullah Khan to Assembly Hall. They raised slogans against load-shedding and poor policies of federal government. The MPAs said Punjab had suffered a loss of Rs 2.5 billion due to power outages during the last one year. They said the industries had shut down and the projects of Chichoki Maliyan and Nandipur had to face red tape. They said ‘Zardari and his cronies’ were robbing the national exchequer ruthlessly. They stressed that there should be no injustice with Punjab and equal treatment should be meted out to all provinces in load-shedding.
