Chief Minister’s Special Assistant on Health Khwaja Salman Rafiq has directed the concerned departments that special attention should be given to graveyards, junk yards, tyre shops and go-downs for dengue vector surveillance. He said that legal action should also be taken against such elements who were not abiding with the government’s instructions in connection with dengue preventive measures. He said this while addressing a meeting of Central Response Committee at Chief Minister’s Secretariat, here on Wednesday. Many officers from the concerned departments attended the meeting. All the secretaries gave presentations in the meeting regarding the performance of their departments in connection with the dengue prevention and control measures.
