30 PTI officials from Chakwal join PML-Q

A thirty member delegation from PP-22 Chakwal, comprising prominent officials of PTI joined PML-Q and expressed their confidence on the leadership of Chaudhry Shujat Hussain and Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi.
The delegation led by Sardar Ghulam Mehdi Khan and Chaudhry Muhammad Ali met the PML leaders at their residence and formally joined Pakistan Muslim League on Thursday.
Addressing the delegation, Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi said the people still yearn for the golden days of PML government when there was a development boom in the country and every facility was provided to the people at their doorstep.
He said that his government invested in every social sector and for the first time people saw a welfare state in work in a third world country. Expressing his views about the future strategies of his party, Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi said that PML has a grand development vision, which encompasses every facet of social, economic and political life of the nation.
He emphasised the importance of Local Government System and said that this system ensures the political training and people’s involvement in the development at the grass-root level. The benefits of the Local Government System can easily be gauged from the fact that delivered wonders in the brief period in which it was allowed to work, he said.
He assured that in the next general elections the party would bring in candidates who were loyal to the party and had deep roots among the party workers and masses. Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi expressed his gratitude to the delegation on joining the party and assured that he would continue to pursue his pro-people policies, which changed the fate of Chakwal and other areas in the past.
The PTI members who joined Pakistan Muslim League were Chaudhry Asad Ali, Raja Kazim Ali, Chaudhry Naushad Ali Khan, Aun Abbas, Muhammad Khan Advocate, Chaudhry Touseef, Zulfiqar Haider, Chaudhry Iftikhar Ali Khan, Chaudhry Hasnain Abbas, Chaudhry Zulfiqar Ali Khan, Chaudhry Zakria, Hassan Askari Khan, Qazi Khaliq, Chaudhry Muhammad Ali Khan, Chaudhry Nasir Ali Khan, Chaudhry Qasim Ali Khan, Chaudhry Tamoor Ali Khan, Chaudhry Wasif Ali Khan, Chaudhry Muhammad Aslam, Chaudhry Shabbir Abbas, Haji Akhtar Nisar Bhatti, Chaudhry Jaffar Musadiq, Chaudhry Khizar Iqbal, Maj (Retd) Chaudhry Ali Abid, Chaudhry Muhammad Minhas, Raja Faisal, Chaudhry Khan Shaukat and Chaudhry Shehzad.
