ABL has reached the final of the Shapes’ Cricket League after beating Aitcheson College by one wicket in a thrilling match here at Aitcheson Ground.
Put to bat Aitcheson College scored of 118 runs. Wahid Ijaz and Haris Ali scored 20 each. Wasi Shah took 3/18 and Rizwan Aslam 2/23. Humayun Fida Hussain, Muhammad Atif, Karimullah and Hafiz Farooq took one wicket each. In reply ABL achieved 119 for loss of 9 wickets. Khawar Saeed 38 runs and Rizwan Aslam 10 runs. Haris Ali took 3/22, Zulqarnain 3/27 and Uzair Rafiq 2/22. Later, Shahid Mahmood, Director Sports, Aitcheson College gave the Man of the Match award to Khawar Saeed (ABL). Match was supervised by Muhammad Kaleem and Liaquat (Umpires) and Muhammad Kazim was the scorer.
