Information Minister Firdous Ashiq Awan has said that Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif’s statement regarding long march is a clear violation of law. Talking to a private television, Firdous said being a doctor she had rightly diagnosed Shahbaz’s disease that he should be admitted into Fountain House. She also urged the Supreme Court to take suo motu notice of the statement issued by the Punjab chief minister.

  1. Every Pakistani who believes in mutual respect and decency would have been shocked to hear the language used by Shahbaz Sharif, Chief Minister of Punjab, against President Asif Ali Zardari in public recently. One has every right to criticise the policies of the president but no one has the right to insult or use highly objectionable and derogatory language against the respected office of the president of Pakistan. I suggest to Mian Nawaz Sharif, Chairman Pakistan Muslim League-N to send his younger brother Shahbaz Sharif to some institute to learn manners and etiquette because he seems to be in dire need of political and social training.
