Class 9 student sent to jail

Civil Lines Police registered a case against a student of Class 9 for cheating during examination on Monday night.
Police released the boy on personal guarantee of his parents after arresting him on the complaint examination centre’s staffers. Per details a teacher namely Muhammad Saddique, who was performing his duties as examiner at Examination Hall of Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education at Lawrence Road, caught Rana Muhammad Ahsen cheating on his exam. Examiner Muhammad Saddique stopped the student from solving the paper and later handed him over to Civil Lines Police, whose officials later on registered a case number 242/12 under section 3-University Act against Rana Muhammad Ahsen.
However Civil Lines Police later on handed over the boy to his parents on their personal guarantee.
Rana Muhammad Ahsen and his heirs blamed Muhammad Saddique for his non-professional behaviour stating that Muhammad Saddique caught four boys cheating in the examination but released three boys after taking Rs 1000 from each student as bribe. They claimed the teacher filed a complaint against Rana Muhammad Ahsen, as he failed to furnish him with Rs 1000. Police said investigations were underway in this regard.
