Safari Club Bahria Town organized the first Safari Marathon which was held in four different age categories. VCE Bahria Town Cdre (Rtd.) M. Ilyas was the chief guest at the occasion and was accompanied by Project in charge Safari and Mini Golf Club Mrs Sitwat Baber (Organizer) and a large number of distinguished guests. Hundreds of participants and spectators made this a lively event. Marathon was divided in four categories – senior citizens, women, men and under-16. Volunteers were also present at the event to provide emergency medical services and beverages to the participants and spectators. Chief guest Cdre Mohammad Ilyas participated himself in the marathon and distributed the winning prizes amongst the top three positions in each category.
