Hashmi refuses taking money from ISI

Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf President Makhdoom Javed Hashmi said on Monday that he had never taken any amount from Inter Services Intelligence (ISI).
Talking to a private TV channel on Monday, he said that Muhammad Yousaf Advocate gave him Rs 187 million for investment in the business on 20 percent profit and he has all the receipts for giving him profit. All the transactions were made through bank. In this connection, a letter was also written to Yousaf.
“I always maintain the detail accounts of each and every penny regarding my business and property, which I presented before the court who acquitted me from every charge”, he added.
He said that General (Retd) Aslam Baig was a cheap person. He said he knew Yousaf Advocate for the last 35 years. In the beginning he remained in PML, then he joined MQM and after that he went to PPP, he added. He denied taking any donation from any quarter.
