Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani on Saturday said Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz chief Nawaz Sharif should refrain from criticising the coalition partners of the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP). Talking to reporters at a function, the prime minister said he read the statement of Nawaz about the government and its coalition partners.
Gilani said their coalition partners could become allies of the PML-N, as no party would be in a position after the next elections to form a government with a simple majority. He said he respected Nawaz and was expecting that Nawaz would congratulate the democratic government for completing four years with success. “Nawaz never completed four years when he was in government,” Gilani said, adding that, “If the government had failed, it would not have completed its four years.” Nawaz should not talk about disregarding court orders, he said, adding that “we respect courts more than Nawaz Sharif”.

  1. Nobody needs to refrain themselves from anything. All of ppp and pml leadership can be bought so why refrain? When the time comes, you just buy (or rent) their loyalties.
