Jeay Sindh Qaumi Mahaz (JSQM) Chairman Bashir Qureshi has demanded that those who arrived in Sindh after 1954 should leave the province.
He made the demand while replying to a question at the Karachi Press Club on Saturday.
Thanking the participants of a “historic” rally, organised by his party at Tibat Centre on Friday, Qureshi said the outsiders who had migrated to Sindh after 1954 had deprived the sons of the soil of their basic rights and due share in the province’s natural resources.
“They should vacate our land as we cannot allow them further exploitation of our rights and resources,” the nationalist leader said.
He also dispelled the impression that his party workers were involved in any kind of harassment or firing incidents.
The JSQM chief said the province was a historical asset of Sindhis and that every conspiracy against it would be foiled by its real protectors.
He further reiterated his Friday’s statement that his supporters would not love to live in Pakistan anymore where they have long been denied their due share in the province’s resources.
Answering a question, Qureshi said the people of Sindh were sensitive to the security of their homeland. “We consider the Urdu-speaking people our brothers. They are also the sons of Sindh and their future is connected with us,” he added.
WE ALL SINDHI'S ARE IN FULL SUPPORT OF DEMAND OF JSQM CHAIRMAN AND ADVISE HIM TO CALL ALL SINDHIS FOR DRASTIC AGITATION IN ALL OVER SINDH FOR EJECTING ALL OUT COMERS SINCE 1954. THIS IS THE BEST WAY THROUGH WHICH OUR NATION WILL UNITED IN ONE HAND N OBJECT WILL BE ACHIEVED ON THE OTHER.
