Ahmad Raza awarded Tamgha-i-Imtiaz

The District Emergency Officer, Rescue 1122 City District Government Lahore Dr Ahmad Raza has been conferred with Tamgha-i-Imtiaz (Medal of Excellence) by the President of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan in recognition of his outstanding performance in the Field of Public Service on Friday. Punjab Governor, Sardar Latif Khosa, bestowed upon him one of the highest national decorations on behalf of President Asif Ali Zardari in a grand Award Distribution Ceremony held at Governor House, Lahore.
Raza had been selected for this national honour on August 14, 2011 by the government for his dedicated services with selfless devotion to provide a sense of safety to the citizens of Lahore. He has been working with Rescue 1122 for a long time. During his tenure, he managed all the major emergencies and disasters in Lahore and made remarkable contributions in achievements of Rescue 1122 by saving thousands of lives of lives.
