Former MNA Amir Yar Waran escaped from court premises after his bail application was rejected in a fake degree case on Wednesday. The case was lying pending in the court of Additional Sessions Judge Wajahat Hussain for last one year. He appeared before the court but when his bail plea was rejected, he escaped from court premises. His wife Khadija was elected from his seat in by the polls after he was disqualified on the charges of holding a fake degree.
I would like to know her qualifications. What public service has see performed in the past. What charities does she contribute to? What is her level of education? What is her vision for Pakistan? Unfortunately, these are questions that hardly any politician can answer honestly. If she won the election just because she was the wife of a cheater, we are doomed. I don't know who votes for these kind of people but they seem to keep winning elections. No wonder we don't make any progress.
