The Supreme Court (SC) has resumed hearing on contempt case against Prime Minister Yusuf Raza Gilani, according to a private TV channel.
A seven member bench headed by Justice Nasir-ul-Mulk is hearing the case.
Earlier on Wednesday, the bench decided to conduct daily proceedings from today. Aitzaz argued that judging from the SC decision of January 10 it appeared as if judges had already decided punishment.
In March 08 proceedings of the court, Gilani was asked to submit a written reply on March 19 and if he wanted to appear before the court he could record his statement yesterday.
In a statement, Prime Minister had said that he would not write letter to the Swiss authorities because of the constitutional immunity enjoyed by the President of Pakistan.
