Former president of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Balochistan chapter, Lashkari Raisani, on Tuesday resigned from the membership of Senate. According to sources, Raisani sent his resignation to the Senate chairman through fax. He was quite disappointed and unhappy with the present PPP leadership, the sources added.
In his view, the present government did not take any steps to improve the worsening law and order of Balochistan and he was forced to take this decision due to the non-serious attitude of his party in the province. Rumours have also been circulating about Raisani’s resignation from the basic membership of the PPP. However, nothing official has been confirmed about it as yet.
