As the CDA’s Health Directorate failed to start anti-dengue spray, the epidemic threat of dengue and malaria virus would increase in the coming days.
Due to the negligence of the health directorate, the larva breeding process would increase when temperature would rise.
Meanwhile, the concerned department has still not started the anti-dengue advertisement and awareness campaign including displaying banners and organizing seminars.
Whereas, the citizens faced difficulties in lodging complaints as the CDA has not yet setup help line to listen complaints of the citizens regarding the dengue virus.
Earlier, the CDA had claimed that it had devised a plan to stop dengue virus spreading in Islamabad and constituted three teams comprising eight members each. The CDA also claimed that it would carry out spray in high-risk areas of Islamabad during January, February and March.
While the citizens rejected the CDA’s claims and said that still now the concerned authorities failed to implement the plan.
