Abbottabad Commission delays report further

The Abbottabad Commission on Tuesday decided to further delay its report and finalise the same after probing allegations leveled by former ISI DG Lieutenant General (r) Ziauddin Butt about the alleged role played by former president General (r) Pervez Musharraf to provide shelter to al-Qaeda chief Osama Bin Laden in Abbottabad. According to a statement, the commission decided to again invite the foreign minister, defence minister, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa CM, Ziauddin, Lieutenant General (r) Nadeem Taj and former IB DG Brigadier (r) Ijaz Shah for questioning. The commission would submit its final report after recording statements of all the aforesaid dignitaries and a few others. The commission held a detailed interactive session with Air Marshal (r) Shahid Latif and sought his feedback about the US operation.

  1. East Pakistan was lost due to NO Hamood Ul Rehman Commission Report. If we want Pakistan to exist & live a respectable life Abbottabad Commission Report must be released immediately. Even if it shows our negligence in any aspect. The picture must be clearly visible before all of us. Otherwise we are giving an open hand to our enemies to make as many false assessments & put as many false allegations on Pakistan as they can. This process may later on make life hard for all the Pakistanis. WAKE UP BEFORE ITS TOO LATE.
