Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader and Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly (NA) Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan Tuesday said his party needs some time to review the recommendations put forward by Parliamentary Committee on National Security (PCNS).
It should be mentioned here that the PCNS chaired by Senator Mian Raza Rabbani tabled recommendations in perspective of Pak-US relations in the wake of Mohmand attack by the US forces stationed in Afghanistan on November 25.
Speaking at the joint session of the Parliament, he said his party would not allow making a mess of the House, adding it would have been better if a report regarding the implementation of the consensus resolutions was tabled before the House prior to the PCNS report.
Chaudhry Nisar said Deputy Air Chief and Chief of the Army Staff (COAS) General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani earlier gave statements regarding striking down the US pilotless planes.
“Will we backpedal from our standpoint after the recommendations are approved”, Nisar wondered.
