PTI central leader Makhdoom Shah Mehmood Qureshi said Tuesday Prime Minister Yusuf Raza Gillani was trying to politicize a judicial matter and history would never forgive him.
He said this while talking to media men at the residence of Dr Waqar Ahmad Khan Daha. He alleged President Asif Zardari manipulative politics was leading the country to disintegration. Rulers talk of honoring constitution and judiciary but they don’t deliver what they say, he charged.
1970 like change was coming in the country, he said adding people had witnessed this experience in the history of the country that both PPP and PML-N were in power. Both these parties were scared of PTI and these were now forced to imitate PTI, he remarked.
PTI took the decision of not participating in by polls in the national interest, he said. Gilani government and election commission held the elections as per old electoral lists contrary to the orders of Supreme Court, he held.
About Gen Pasha he said he was an honest and patriotic person and now he had been retired. Gen Pasha bailed out Gilani government in several matters, he observed.
PTI did not come into being overnight like PML-Q and IJI but its chairman struggled hard to make it third major party, he said.
Overseas Pakistanis are looking forward to their brethren in Pakistan how they hold both PPP and PML-N accountable through ballot papers in upcoming general elections, he underlined.

  1. He has earned my respect for distancing himself from ppp and pml. I still don't know much about him but he seems to have potential. He seems well educated and portrays a good image.

  3. Mr. Quereshi.
You seem tb keeping a low profile. Mr .Imran seems to be carrying the can alone at these difficult times. Everybody can ride the crests of waves but the true character of the party is shown when it hits a trough. ihad expected you to be more proactive. You have the heritage, experience and education to take on the ruling party and others. Don,t blow up this uniqe chance. You are much more articulate than Hashmi who though rich in experience is unimpressive in debates. All hands on board. I support you but the inexperience of your party is showing through.
