Nawab Town Police recovered a body of a young Saudi Arabia returned man from a house on Sunday. The deceased was identified as Muhammad Umer, a resident of Deer District, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Per details Muhammad Umer had returned from Saudi Arabia couple of months ago. After staying at his house for a month or so Umer left for Lahore but since then he went missing. His heirs reported the incident to Deer Police. Investigators of Deer Police got the records of mobile number and suspected the involvement of one Razzaq, a resident of Nawab Town Area, a friend of Umer. Nawab Town Police raided at the house of Razzaq and arrested his son Saddam Hussain. During course of investigation Saddam Hussain confessed the killing of Muhammad Umer by his parents. Saddam told police that they strangulated Umer to death and buried his body inside their house. Police on Saddam’s informed recovered the body from the house and started searching for Razzaq and his wife Saeeda, who managed to escape. Saddam further told police that they had killed Umer in the name of honour. Police handed over the body of deceased Umer to his heirs after autopsy who took body back to their native place.
MURDER: A 30-year-old man was murdered by some unidentified persons in Harbanspura area on Sunday. The deceased was identified as Akram, a resident of Fateh Garh Harbanspura. Some locals spotted the victim’s body lying in a local graveyard and informed the police. Akram had monetary dispute with several persons, police said.
SUCCUMBED: A woman expired in a local hospital on Sunday, a day after some unidentified robbers broke into her Shahdara house and shot and wounded her and her three daughters of whom one died on the spot. The deceased woman was identified as Bashiran Bibi. Her daughter Sumaira died on the day of the incident, police said and added that the condition of Fakhara and Asma was also critical.
FIRE: Household items worth thousands of rupees were reduced to ashes when fire broke out in a house in Shahdara on Sunday.
Cause of fire was said to be short circuit. Firefighters rushed to the scene and out the fire out after hectic efforts.
WHEELERS ARRESTED: Model Town police Sunday arrested 16 youths on the charges of performing stunts on their bikes. Police said that the arrested youths were not only putting their lives in danger but were also causing danger for other commuters.
