Interior Minister Rehman Malik has said that target killing in Karachi has ended and operation has been started against the extortionists, according to a TV channel.
He said that he had gone to Karachi on the instruction of President Asif Ali Zardari to provide relief to the people of Karachi.
He further said that concerns raised by MQM against extortion were genuine adding that all political parties including MQM, PPP, and ANP are not sheltering extortionists rather they are all against it.
Malik claimed that 103 extortionists have been arrested in different operations across the city adding that increase in crime rate was due to insufficient police deployment and measures have been taken to increase deployment.
As long as u and your party ppp and your partner MQM is in power no crime including
bhatta taking can be ablosihed because you all are crime promoters.
