Prime Minister Yusuf Raza Gilani’s counsel Aitzaz Ahsan has submitted the reply on behalf of Prime Minister before the Supreme Court in contempt case, according to a TV channel.
During the last hearing of the case, the bench hearing the contempt case had told Aitzaz to submit a written reply on behalf of the Prime Minister.
Gilani has already made it clear that writing a letter could mean treason under the Constitution and he would prefer doing time for contempt which is only six months.
