‘I, not she, is county’s 1st female MPH degree-holder’

Health Department Assistant Director Rubina John has claimed that she is the first woman of the country who obtained degrees in Master of Public Health (MPH) and Master in Nursing Sciences in 2002 and 2011, respectively. She contradicted the claim of a Jinnah Postgraduate Medical College nurse Khairul Nisa – nominated for pride of performance recently – that she is the country’s first female MPH degree-holder. “The government needs to award the pride of performance on merit,” said John.
