The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) will drag President Asif Ali Zardari in the streets of Larkana, Karachi and Lahore if it comes into power, Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif said on Friday. Addressing a public meeting at Government Maulana Zafar Ali Khan Degree College, the Punjab chief minister said ‘Ali Baba and forty thieves’ in Islamabad were busy plundering the national exchequer.
He said each and every penny of the people’s hard-earned money would be recovered from the plunderers. “Whenever the prime minister is directed by the Supreme Court of Pakistan to write a letter to bring the plundered money back from abroad, he replies the trial of Benazir’s grave is being held. It is not understood why the prime minister is trying to save the robbers and looters. He is protecting ‘Ali Baba’, but does not care about the 180 million people of Pakistan.
If the prime minister is with the people of Pakistan, he should write the letter to the Swiss courts,” Shahbaz said. He said the people were aware of the corruption of the rulers and would not vote for them in the coming general election. The chief minister himself led slogans of “Go Zardari Go” and assured the people of Wazirabad of bringing the looted money back. Without naming anyone, the chief minister said a new leader talked about revolution, but he had allowed most of the turncoats to join his party. Shahbaz said the leader could not bring about any revolution, adding it was Nawaz Sharif who could ameliorate the lot of the people. He announced setting up an institute of cardiology in Wazirabad and said the institute would serve six districts of Gujranwala division.

  1. listen what is being said. don't see who is saying. May Allah bless our country with true, sincere, honest, dedicated, humble, brave and assertive leaders. Aameen!

  2. What a statement ! God save us from you if this is what you intend to do. If this is your perception of democracy then let Mr. zardari continue as the President because he never dragged anybody, including you in the streets.

    • I agree. All Shahbaz Sharif manages to do is show his lack of class and upbringing! The viciousness the Sharifs' and their party have always shown towards the PPP and it's leaders obviously knows no bounds. They have obviously not heard of TAQWA, Fear of Allah. But no amount of unbounded spitefulness will ever cover their disgraceful history as politicians. May Allah in His Wisdom preserve Pakistan from them. Ameen.

  3. As in this speech , Mr Sharif often betrays his Hitlarite mindset . He needs a long

process of self-education to develop democratic sensibilities , and to get rid of the

    sickness of self-righteousness .

  4. It is painful to read the" inspiring'' speech that Mr Sharif made in an educational

institution for the " edification' of our youth . People are hungry to hear some
message of hope from our leaders . They should give the people a vision of the
future , goals which appeal to their idealism and kindle in them a desire for a good
and prosperous life and stir in them a passion to see in their society respect for human dignity , justice , and rule of law. They are fed up with perpetual mudslinging
by the politicians with utter absence of anything positive and inspiring
    dignity

  5. Mr. Sharif – Imran Khan will literally drag you, Zardari and your brother in the streets when IA he comes into power. 😉

    • Please don,t insult Imran. He will not sink that low. Your comments are out of context. You are putting Imran in the same boat with the misguided gentleman. While i appreciate your rage, don,t harm Imran.

  6. mr shabaz shreef ……………….4 saal punjab ap nee kia kia …
people of punjab will also drag you in street
patwari aur tahnedar kee saesiayat karni ati hai
    shame for u

  7. Mr Shahbaz Sharif your are one of the most promising leaders of Pakistan .I do not expect such speech and words coming from you .This is a clear indication that you and PML N are confused .Be a man of big heart and publicly apologize .

  8. mashallah jazakallah khud hi adalat khud hi wakeel khud hi gawa khud hi jailor khud hi jallaad chotaay mian sahib aapkay hotay huay nawaz sharif ko kisi dushman ki zaroorat nahin carry on with your diatriab

  9. Let us have some decency in politics. Let us not sink into gutter politics. What heritage are we handing over to our children.? No wonder people in the west shake their heads in disbelief.Pakistani leaders act sometime act like Rambo or like the Terminator..Please take some consequent analysis of your words. A mature politician always chooses his words carefully. People from Lahore have a culture of accomdation and friendliness. This was atleast there when i lived there as a student. Now even a former diplomat told me to live in the past rather than present .He invited me under the condition if i was prepared to be depressed.

  10. Chief Minister of most populous province of the country remarks for sitting President of the Country; both are in power in their capacity for the past 4 years now….! Shame Indeed.

  11. U should ask big brother sharif first, he might not like you ridiculing his 'brother from another mother'

  12. One can tell educational background of Shabaz Sharifs, they don't have any moral values and Political Ethics,101 of political science is,''No elected official will intentionally mislead or offend the people.''
Do not engage in violence or intimidation, or in language or action that might lead to violence or intimidation.
But unfortunately Pakistani Politicians forget all kind of decency when it comes to their vote bank, they justlike to be a president,PM,Chief Minister, they don't have any agenda, they are the leaders with fake college degrees.
