Unidentified militants Friday blew up two government schools in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, police sources said. No one was hurt as the schools were closed at the time of blasts, police said. The first school building consisting of 15 rooms was destroyed early on Friday in Zaida area of Swabi district.
All the official records and computer labs were damaged. Police said that explosive devices were placed into the rooms and compound of the building. SHO Zaida, Nazir Khan said that a search operation was launched throughout the district against unknown perpetrators.
Another school was blown up in Kohat district.
