Punjab Education Minister Mian Mujhtaba Shuja-ur-Rahman said that Punjab government was doing a lot for the promotion of education and government will do its best to provide infrastructure facilities to the government MAO College Lahore as it is an historic college.
Education Minister was addressing at the annual sports days’ ceremony where college Principle Dr Farhan Abadat yar khan, Former MAO college principal Dr Sayed Tahir Yousaf Bukhari, Senior teacher and educationist Muhammad Arif and a large number of students were also present.
Education Minister said that CM launched laptop scheme to upgrade the talent of the students and purpose was enrich the youth regarding the global information. He said that it was the commitment of the government of the Punjab that they will develop the education standard of the province and for this purpose they set of IT labs at the colleges and schools and doing their best in the education sector. He said that students should participate in the sports activities. He said that government of Punjab will provide vehicles to the MAO College and will do best for the students and faculty of the college. Education minister said that four year BS honors was a good step of the government and they are trying to remove the flaws in the programs. He said that he will hold meetig witht college teachers about the continuing of the Master programs at the college.Dr Farhan Abadat in his address briefed the Education Minister about the developments and issues at the MAO College and said that college teachers and administration is rendering their services for the development of Mao College. Earlier Education Minister also distributed the medals among the shining students of the college.
