With the advent of the summer season, shopping malls and markets are displaying designer lawns as fashion designers race to display their latest summer collection for 2012.
Wearing these exclusive lawns is a trend that emerged recently, becoming a style statement for all the fashion conscious women.
Catering to the needs of these consumers Sobia Nazir, a fashion entrepreneur launched a new lawn brand ‘Sobia Nazir Spring Collection-2012’ at her Studio F-/7/1.
The launch was well-attended by celebrities, including renowned TV artists Laila Zuberi and models Cybil and Mehreen Syed. Sobia Nazir focuses on providing the customers the finest fabrics.
Nazir has become a pioneer of the Islamabad fashion scene since she started her career over a decade ago.
Her label has continued to grow, securing her a sizeable clientele, both nationally and internationally.

Sobia fascinated attendees with her unique designing aesthetics and endeavors to bring something exclusive for this summer.
Her lawn collection features symmetric patterns with stylish prints and comes in multiple colours.
Amina Raza, a customer present at the event, said she always preferred designer lawns as they look exclusive and special. “Sobia Nazir’s lawns are trendy, their fabric is comfortable and they are made keeping in mind the harsh summer season. The colours and print patterns are also very different from rest of the lawns available in market,” she added.
Sobia is a young, passionate designer, who tries her best to bring Pakistan to the forefront of the fashion industry.
She has exhibited her work at national and international levels. She has showcased her designs at the Milan Fashion week and Dubai Fashion week for three consecutive years. After Karachi, Sobia recently showcased her designs at the PFDC Sunsilk Fashion Week held in Lahore.
The designer owns an outlet in Islamabad successfully and her designs have featured in leading fashion publications, including Harpers Bazaar, Libas, Asiana and Asian Woman.
In 2008, she achieved the ‘Best Pakistani designer of the year’ award at the Asian Style Awards.
In the same year, she also launched her debut line of exclusive lawn.
