Six militants killed in Khyber

Six militants were killed when jet fighters bombarded the Tirah valley of Khyber Agency, sources said on Thursday.
According to security sources, jet fighters targeted militant hideouts in the remote areas of the Tirah valley on Thursday.
Apart from the militants killed, several others were injured, while three hideouts were also destroyed.
Meanwhile, terrorists blew up a government school in a Landikotal village.
The early morning attack came after terrorists placed powerful explosives inside the primary school’s compound.
Militants blow up two govt schools, tube well in Lakki Marwat: Unidentified militants destroyed a secondary school and two buildings were partially damaged in three simultaneous blasts on Thursday. According to police, militants blew up a government middle school located in Zairran area of Lakki Marwat with explosives. They also targeted a government primary school and a tube well in Doda area with locally-made bombs partially damaging the two buildings. No casualties were reported in the blasts. Police recovered and defused a bucket full of explosives from Mandakhel area. Police beefed up security across the district after the blasts and started searching for militants.
