The schedule of the President’s address to the joint session of the Parliament has been changed which will now be commenced on Saturday at 1:30 p.m.
According to the National Assembly secretariat, President Zardari will now address the joint session at 1:30 p.m. instead of previously announced 11 a.m. The notification of change in the schedule has also been issued by the NA Secretariat.
Sources told Online that the Ministry of Parliamentary affairs has not informed the NA secretariat about the reasons for the change in the schedule.
Presidential spokesman, Farhatullah Babar said that the President would address the joint session of the parliament to mark the start of new parliamentary year that will be the President’s fifth address to the join session.
He said that all preparations for the joint session have been made and invitation letters issued to the special guests and diplomats.
The President will review the performance of the government during last four years.
