Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah has said that giving protection to public lives and properties is among the top priorities of the Provincial government and Elite Force is playing important role in this regard.
Addressing the 14th passing out parade of Elite Force here on Wednesday, Rana Sanaullah said that goals of peace, stability and development could be achieved only through establishing the rule of law.
He said that formation of Elite Force despite limited resources is landmark achievement of the provincial government.
The provincial law minister lauded the performance and commitment of Elite Force personnel for maintaining peace and law and order in the province.
Sana urged the law enforcement authorities to spare no efforts to book the culprits involved in various crimes including murders, robberies, pick pocketing, picket looting and vehicles theft and snatching and awarding them with exemplary punishment.
He said that bomb blasts, terrorism, sectarianism violence, suicide bombing were serious threats and provincial government was taking all possible steps to overcome these challenges.
