Unidentified militants destroyed six video shops with explosives on Tuesday but no casualties were reported. According to sources, militants had planted explosives outside six video shops located in main bazaar of Miranshah, the tribal headquarters of North Waziristan Agency (NWA) which exploded. All six shops were destroyed completely and accessories burnt to ashes as the shops caught fire after the blasts.
The shops were closed and no one was present near the spot. Security forces started searching for the culprits but no arrests were made. Panic gripped the area after the blasts. Video shop owners said that they were repeatedly getting threats from extremists to close their business and warned of dire consequences if they did not do so.
