At least six people were killed and several others injured as a result of a high-intensity bomb explosion in a guesthouse in Bajaur Agency on Wednesday. Officials at Khar, headquarters of Bajaur, said that a high-intensity explosion occurred in a hujra in Gatkai village when a number of people were present inside. The officials said six people were killed on the spot, while several others were shifted to hospital in critical condition. No one has claimed responsibility for the explosion so far and officials said the anti-militant people of the area were the target.
