At least 13 killed in twin drone strikes in SWA


At least thirteen suspected militants were killed in two US drone attacks in the Tribal Areas on Tuesday. In the first attack, a drone fired two missiles on a vehicle at Birmal area of South Waziristan on Tuesday. Officials in Wana said a vehicle was passing along Dray Shakar area of Birmal, close to the Pak Afghan border. Six people on board the vehicle were killed on the spot. The identity of the deceased has not been ascertained as yet. Seven more people were killed in second US drone strike in Surra Khawra area of Shawal in South Waziristan. The fresh strike came ahead of the visit to Pakistan by the US CENTCOM chief General Mattis this month.
