Counsel for former ambassador Hussain Haqqani, Zahid Bukhari on Tuesday left for London for cross-examination of Mansoor Ijaz, the central figure in memogate scandal.
Talking to media before departure, Bukhari said the memogate scandal was a bunch of lies aimed at destabilizing the government and people of Pakistan.
‘Mansoor Ijaz is a liar and my cross-examination will expose him,’ he said. ‘Huge money from the public exchequer has been spent on the foreign investigations.’
‘I swear nothing would come out of this and all was done to stop Senate polls,’ Zahid Bukhari added.

  1. First of all, I think zahid bukhari should brush his teeth every day. He should also think about getting dentures 🙂
Now to the main point. Why has haqqani's memory faded so quickly that he cannot remember anything and what he does remember is very selective. How convenient that he loses his cell phones and does not have access to his messages anymore. Why does his story keep changing? Why has he made the job of getting the fact so hard? Why is he not helping? Why is making harder to get any fact? Why is he not cooperating in getting to the truth? Why is the full support of the (corrupt) govt. with him? Should they not also be interested in finding the truth and pressuring haqqani to turn over everything relating to this scandal? Oh. I get it. They can't because they are the ones involved in conspiring against their own country.
