18pc believe in efficacy of vote to cause social change: Gallup

According to a Gilani Research Foundation Survey carried out by Gallup Pakistan, only 18% believe in the efficacy of their vote to cause social change.
A nationally representative sample of men and women from across the four provinces was asked, “Do you agree or disagree that your vote in the elections does not impact decisions about the major problems of the country?” Thirty Nine percent responding completely agreed with the statement that their vote during elections does not impact the decisions related to the major problems of the country.
Other 35% are partial skeptics, they somewhat agree with the same statement. On the other hand, 18% are optimists. They disagree with the statement and believe that their vote can impact decisions about major problems of the country. However, 8% did not give a view.
